中東（トルコなどの非アラブ圏）・中央ユーラシア近現代史研究に必要なトルコ語などの読解力を高めるとともに、最近の研究動向を調べながら受講生各自の研究の方向性を定めることを目標とする。博士論文を作成する力を養うことが達成の基準となる。

This seminar assists doctor course students to read historical sources written in Turkish or Turkic languages, and to decide the direction of own research on the modern history of Middle East or Central Eurasia.

|
|
受講生の関心に応じて原典資料を選定して講読を進めるとともに、最近の注目すべき研究論文を適宜取り上げて出席者全員で討議する。

In the beginning of the term suitable source materials are to be selected by the participants.In the end of the term students are required to make a final presentaion.
|
|
|
|
原書講読や研究報告への取り組み（８０％）とアクティブ・ラーニングの成果（２０％）を基準に評価する。
|
|
|
|
Grading depends on efforts in reading source materials and the quality of the final presentaion (80%)in addition to the achievements of active learning (20%).
|
|
|
|
取り上げるテキストは、事前によく読み、関連する事項を調べた上で演習に臨むこと。
|
|
|
|
A full preparation is essential for reading every source materials.
