日・ウルドゥー語翻訳演習
 
Title（English）   
Translation into Urdu
 
授業の目標   
司法や医療など、専門的な内容に関して、日本語とウルドゥー語間で実際に翻訳の訓練を行いながら、表面化する問題点を明らかにし、その解決法を探りながら、正確なウルドゥー語で伝えられることを目指す。
 
Goals of the course   
To get the ability to translate properly into Urdu from Japanese in the areas of medical and justice etc.
 
授業の概要   
さまざまなテキストを、日本語からウルドゥー語へ、もしくはウルドゥー語から日本語へ翻訳する。その際に明らかになる問題点を受講生との議論を通じ、解決策を探り、より正確な翻訳を目指す。扱う予定の内容は、日本と南アジアとの関係を考慮し、司法分野、医療分野、観光分野を想定している。受講生の関心によっては、異なる分野の資料を扱うこともある。
 
Overview of the course   
Various materials in Japanese and Urdu are used and seek the proper translation through the discussion by teacher and students.

成績評価の方法・基準   
授業への参加状況（35％）、期末試験の成績（65％）を考慮して評価を行う。
 
Grading system for assessment   
attitude in the class 35%, end-of-the-term exam 65%

事前に配付された資料は必ず翻訳して授業時に発表すること。

予習は必須とし、予習無しの場合、出席とは認めない。学期中に無断欠席が５回あった場合、単位認定は行わない。
