Title（English）   
Fundamentals of experimental phonetics (2)
 
授業の目標   
音声学で，実験的な手法を用いて論文執筆ができるようになることを目標とする．言葉の音について実験計画が立てられることが重要である．
 
Goals of the course   
To obtain abilities necessary for writing the papers by means of experimental phonetics, especially for making feasible plans for experiment on sounds used in human language.
 
授業の概要   
音声学の分野履修者自身が実験計画を立て，データ収集を行い，結果について考察を行う．最終的には学会誌に投稿できる形に仕上げる．
もし必要であれば，適宜文献講読を行う．
 
Overview of the course   
The lecture provides the means for students to make feasible plans for collecting data and to obtain necessary knowledge for such work.
Students will be trained to make plans of experiments, collect the data, and examine the results for themselves. The final objective is to prepare for submitting refereed papers to academic journals.

成績評価の方法・基準   
毎回の授業参加度を平常点として重視する。
さらに、ゼミ合宿報告書、文献講読の担当分の要約と口頭発表、課題提出物、口頭発表を総合評価する。
 
Grading system for assessment   
Evaluation is based on the degree of student’s contribution in attending the lecture, the quality of summaries of assigned papers, reports requested by the lecturer, and presentations.
 
事前・事後学習【要する時間の目安】   
発表の担当者は、ハンドアウトまたはPPTを準備すること。
発表後は、次回の発表までに、議論を踏まえて研究内容を深めておくこと。
 
Preview/review   
Each student is requested to present weekly reports on one’s investigation.
 
履修上の注意   
実験音声学基礎１（大学院博士後期課程授業）を履修済みであることが必要。
