受講学生が各自の研究計画を作成し、研究を進める。 授業では、各受講学生の研究の目的及び背景、方法、結果に関し、報告・検討を行う。 基準を満たす修士論文を期日までに執筆し、提出する。

Participants make their research plans and proceed with research projects. They report the purposes, backgrounds, methods, and results of their research projects, and discuss them with other classmates. They will write their master theses meeting the requirements, and submit them by the deadline.

担当者を指導教員として日本語教育学にかかわる修士論文、または修士終了研究を完成させようとする学生を対象に、各自の論文・研究を完成させるための指導を行う。受講学生の発表を中心に、学生相互の批評などから議論を深め、研究を客観的にとらえ、論文執筆を進める。

This course is targeted for students whose academic adviser is the instructor, and will give those students guidance in completing their master theses/research projects on Japanese pedagogy.
Students report the progress of their research plans. Then other classmates make comments and discussions on it. Through these works, each student review his/her research objectively and go on writing thesis.

発表者は、発表内容をまとめたレジュメを電子ファイルで用意し、授業の前に教員(及び受講学生)に送付する。受け取った者は、各自よく読んで、必要なことがらを調べたうえで、質問などを用意し、印刷して授業に持参する。

The assigned presenter is required to make a summary of his/her presentation and send it to the instructor and other students via e-mail prior to class. Students should examine the summary, prepare questions, and bring the printed document of questions to class.
