Research Seminar in Japanese Linguistics and Japanese Language Education I

現代日本語の構文・語彙の分析研究、あるいはそれと関連する教育方法論等をテーマとする学生が、修士論文の執筆、あるいは修士修了研究を順次遂行し、夏学期以降の執筆計画について明確化することを目標とする。
（秋学期開始のリカレントコースの学生は、研究を完成させることが目標となる。）

This course is for students who specialize in analyzing sentence structure and vocabulary of contemporary Japanese language or in the methodology of teaching them.
These students will start writing their master theses or doing their research, and define how to complete them during and after the summer semester.
(Students who enrolled in the recurrent course starting from the fall semester will complete their master research.)

受講者各自の研究テーマにしたがい、研究進捗状況の報告・発表を順次行い、全員で議論を行う。必要に応じて、関連する重要文献の講読を行う。
|
|
|
The class is composed of presentation on the progress of research by each participant and discussion by all classmates, and reading important reference materials as needed.

１. 受講者は、授業期間内に、以下の点について順次発表し、議論を行う。
（１）研究テーマと研究の概要
（２）前提となる基本的概念の整理・明確化（必要に応じ、関連文献講読）
（３）先行研究の概要と批判的検討、残された問題点と研究課題の明確化（必要に応じ、関連文献講読）
（４）夏学期以降の執筆・研究遂行計画
２. 授業最終回に、研究内容の中間発表を口頭で行う。
（リカレントコースの学生は、完成した研究について口頭発表による報告を行う。）

１. Participants will make presentation on the following topics in turns and make discussions during the course:
（１）Research theme and the outline of the research
（２）Summarizing and defining its basic concepts (reading reference materials as needed)
（３）The outline of previous studies and examining them critically, defining the remaining research problems (reading reference materials as needed)
（４）How to write master thesis and do research during and after the summer semester
２. Participants will make presentation on the interim report of their research at the final class.
（Participants in the recurrent course will make presentation on their completed research.）
