Title（English）   
Principles and Practice in Using the CEFR (2): The CEFR-J x 27 project
 
授業の目標   
本講義は Super Global University (SGU) の特設科目である。ヨーロッパ言語共通参照枠（CEFR）をヨーロッパの言語のみならずすべての外国語の学習・教育・評価に共通に利用して統一的なカリキュラムと評価を行うためには、具体的にどのように CEFR の汎用枠から個別言語に具体化するのか、その手法に関して講義し、具体的な言語資料の構築や CEFR レベル別の言語材料の精選などの手法を解説する。
 
Goals of the course   
This is a special lecture offered as a part of the Super Global University (SGU) project funded by MEXT
This course helps postgraduate students acquire fundamental knowledge about the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the possibility of applying the CEFR to various foreign languages, including non-EU languages. Practical skills of creating wordlists, concordances from a language corpus will be taught along with how to prepare language resources for different CEFR levels.
 
授業の概要   
春学期でCEFRの基本的な理念と主要な概念の構造および中核となる can do ディスクリプタの作成とリストの妥当性検証に関して基本的な理解を得たことを基盤に、秋学期では各個別言語ではどのようなレベル別特徴が想定されるかを具体的に考える。特に、英語のCEFR資源からの半自動翻訳による資料構築の可能性、多言語翻訳・コーパス資源の利用可能性、翻訳文のデータを用いた統計的機械翻訳の手法などを概観し、各専攻の言語ごとの状況を調査・報告する。それらを通して、個別言語ごとに克服しなければならない問題点、言語ごとに利用できる言語リソース（学習材、語彙表、辞書、コーパス、など）の整理と活用方法を議論する。またPC教室を使用して、多言語それぞれの言語処理の基礎的な手法も学ぶ。
 
Overview of the course   
The course will expect students to acquire the following knowledge and skills:
1) the basic knowledge of reference level descriptions
2) how to build resources for language teaching: wordlist, phrase/collocation list, dictionary, grammar book, etc.
3) how to build each language's resources in a different way
4) how to use NLP technologies to assist the compilation of those educational resources
