１．論理的かつ簡潔に要点を伝える話し方を学ぶ。
２．主張・根拠の整った説得力のある議論、生産性の高い議論のしかたを学ぶ。
３．文献資料を批判的に読み解き、資料の論点を的確に伝える思考力と表現力を養う。
４．レジュメやスライドなどの提示資料を活用した、わかりやすい口頭発表の手法を学ぶ。

The objectives of this class are for the students to improve the following skills and abilities:
1) the ability to make a logical and concise speech;
2) the skills to conduct a persuasive and constructive argument;
3) the ability to read literatures critically and conduct an appropriate discussion on the literatures;
4) the skills to make a good oral presentation with an effective use of presentation slides.

本演習では、大学院ゼミでの研究発表や質疑応答、議論などが円滑に遂行できることを目的とし、論理的で説得力のある話し方のスキルを高めることを目指す。授業では、１分スピーチ、ブックレポート（文献報告）、研究テーマのプレゼンテーションといった課題を課す予定である。なお、本科目は、留学生（非日本語母語話者）対象である。

This class provides the graduate students with opportunities to improve one's oral communication skills necessary for smoothly conducting one's research activities such as oral academic presentations and discussions. This class is restricted to non-native speakers of Japanese.
