The overall goal is to discuss how peace is pursued after conflict. This seminar aims to provide students with opportunities to develop strategic thinking by discussing how peacebuilding policies are better constructed in response to armed conflicts.

Each week students are given reading assignments under one common theme. After clarifying the contents of the key documents, the instructor provides a lecture on the topic from a wider perspective.

Students will have plenary discussions to deepen the understanding of the topic and sharpen critical insights into relevant issues. Students must read at least one requirement each week and should be able to comprehend the document and actively engage in discussions. For each week,the reading materials is selected from analytical or policy-oriented practical documents issued by international organizations. Participants are expected to engage in discussions in divergent ways according to their own interests while broadening their original perspectives.
