日本ファシズム・総力戦体制と戦時・戦後の東アジアがかかえた諸問題について考察します。
戦後日本におけるファシズム研究の基盤をつくった丸山真男のほか、藤田省三、橋川文三などの論文を講読しながら、ファシズム・総力戦体制を論じる視座・方法について考えます。
近現代東アジアの歴史・思想とファシズム・総力戦体制について、基本的な理解と分析方法を身につけることを達成の基準とします。

To look at Japanese fascism/all-out war regime as well as issues facing East Asia during and after the war.
To think about perspectives and methods to discuss fascism and all-out ware regime, reading papers of M. Maruyama, who laid the foundation of fascism studies in postwar Japan, S. Fujita, and B. Hashikawa.
To obtain basic knowledge and analytical methods of the history/ideologies as well as fascism/all-out war regime in modern and contemporary East Asia.

テキストの講読と発表・討論をおこないます。
2回分のアクティブ・ラーニング（関連文献・資料の講読やフィールド・ワークとレポート提出）を含みます。

Two out of all lessons will be active learning (reading reference materials, field work, and submission of reports).
