Vietnam and China during the "Both Comrades and Brothers" Era

1950年代から60年代にかけてのベトナムと中国は，「同志でもあり兄弟でもある」と形容される，指導者間の信頼と友情に立脚した特殊な国家関係のもとにあった。この授業では，政治・経済関係を中心にその具体的な内容を分析し，その長所と短所を把握するとともに，現在の両国関係を考察するための基盤を獲得することを目指す。

The Vietnam-China relationship in the 1950s and the1960s has been known as “Both comrades and brothers”. It was a unique relationship based on the personal trust and friendship between the highest leaders of the two countries. This lecture aims to build a basement for the study of the current Vietnam-China relations, grasping the merit and demerit of the “Both comrades and brothers” relationship through the analysis of its embodiment, mainly in the political and economic relations between the two countries.

ホー・チ・ミン，劉少奇，毛沢東など両国の指導者の著作やスピーチ及び両国で近年公開された文献資料を講読しながら，「同志でもあり兄弟でもある」関係の内実を把握していく。

Former confidential documents released recently in Vietnam and China, including some works of the highest leaders like Ho Chi Minh, Mao Zedong and Liu Shaoqi, will be analyzed in the lecture to grasp the reality of the “Both comrades and brothers” relationship between Vietnam and China.
