南アジアにおいて、しばしば「宗教」的な規範はジェンダーを規定する。この演習では、南アジアのジェンダーと宗教に関する研究動向について広く知見を広めるとともに、問題抽出能力を高めることをめざす。

"Religious" norms sometimes define the gender relations in South Asia. This seminar aims at acquiring enough knowledge about the current academic debates related to the gender and religion so that the participants can locate their own research thems.

南アジアのジェンダーと宗教に関する主要な先行研究を輪読し、報告する。各人の研究テーマについて報告する

The participants are to report the arguments of the articles/books and join the discussions.

南アジアの宗教とジェンダーに関する先行研究を分担してリスト化し、主要な文献を参加メンバーが担当し報告、議論する。

|
The participants first are to list up the main books/articles related the theme of this seminar. Then they report those articles or books which are close to their own research field.

|
|
演習での報告と議論への参加（７０％）と小レポート（３０％）を総合的に評価する
|
|
|
|
The level of report and discussion in the seminar (70%) and the report submitted at the end of the seminar(30%).

The participants are required to read the materials used in the seminar beforehand.
