Title（English）   
The Study of Translation on Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature2
 
授業の目標   
五四以降、現代・当代にかけて書かれた短編小説・散文等の文芸作品を精読し、作品鑑賞とともに文学作品の和訳スキルについて研究する。日本語の文体・語彙・表現等に対する理解を高め、高度な日本語訳技術の習得をめざす。日本語話者にとっては中国語による文学作品鑑賞と内容理解、中国語話者にとっては文学的表現についての高度な日本語運用能力の養成を主眼とする。
 
Goals of the course   
The theme of this seminar is focused on advancing translation skills of works written by famous contemporary writers into Japanese as a work of literary art.
 
授業の概要   
現代中国語による文学作品を題材に、対日翻訳の技術習得をめざす。
 
Overview of the course   
We select a piece of the short essay from a recent anthology, and read through a careful inquiry as to its background of era and location.Students will be requested to make own Japanese translation and a report of investigation into the names of people, places,and various peculiar words.

成績評価の方法・基準   
平常授業における発表の内容と提出された報告の完成度により総合的に評価する。
 
Grading system for assessment   
The evaluations will be based on the report paper (80%)and performance on the discussion (20%).

Students are required to read the assigned texts carefully before the class.
 
履修上の注意   
初回の授業で可能な限り半年間で通読し得る短編を選び、各受講者の分担部分を決める。割り当てられた箇所について、担当者は毎回の授業において、自身で用意した日本語の私訳と共に、作品の背景となった時代・地域・社会状況等に関する情報を精査したレジュメを作っておくこと。少人数による精読を旨とするので履修者はあらかじめかなりの負担があることを心得られたい。
