同時通訳(英日)の実技訓練を行う。 春学期においては、専門的ではない内容を、ほぼ情報を落とすことなく訳出できることを目指す。

This class is for the students to acquire the skill of simultaneous interpreting from English into Japanese. During the spring semester the aim is to be able to simultaneously interpret speeches on non-technical subjects without loss of information content.

学習ログをつけることを義務付ける。 次回の授業で扱われるテーマについてリサーチを行い、背景知識を豊富にしておくこと。

The students should keep study logs at all times. The participants of this class are required to pick up a topic from The Economist of the week and make a speech.
