計量言語学、計算言語学の先行研究を学びます。計算言語学に関連する論文を読み、知識や方法論を身につけます。論文誌(計量言語学、自然言語処理、日本語文法、日本語教育学、応用言語学など)から関係する論文を選び、講読します。ことばの問題を分析的且つ計量的に取り扱えるようになることを目標に、議論したりモデルを組み立てたりします(報告と発表を通じて行います)。ウェブを通じた論文調査を含みます（能動学習）。

配布資料には予め目を通し、関心のある点や概念把握が難しい点などを受講中に質問できるように準備しておくこと。

担当を決め、担当論文について報告を行い、その内容について議論や討論をします。授業への積極的な参加を求めます。

Each student will make a report on the assigned research paper. The contents of the report will be discussed by all members.
Students are required to actively participate in class.
