20世紀以来、現代モンゴル語が形成したプロセスにかかわる諸問題について考える。それにより、「現代モンゴル語」、つまり、「現代モンゴル語の書きことば」がどのように形成したのか、というモンゴル語研究の新しい課題について理解を深め、現代モンゴル語研究の方向性について考察する。

Especially, develop the understanding of how written contemporary Mongolian was formed, and examine the direction of contemporary Mongolian linguistics studies.

現代モンゴル語の書きことばの形成プロセスにかかわる諸問題について講じる。特に、中国領内の現代モンゴル語に焦点を当て、近代語彙の形成、言語規範、文字改革などの問題を旧モンゴル人民共和国の「国語」との関係で学ぶ。

Look at issues on the process in which the contemporary written Mongolian was formed. Among other things, focus on the contemporary Mongolian in China, and compare it with the national language of the former Mongolian People's Republic in terms of modern vocabulary, linguistic norms, and reform of characters.
