In this course, students will become skilled in the following: -Recognize solutions to economic issues utilizing equilibrium and surplus analyses, and -Acquire a base for understating high macroeconomics.

本講義では、ミクロ経済学の基礎理論の応用例として、独占、複占、寡占といった不完全競争や、市場の失敗として外部性、または現実の問題から消費税などを取り上げ、これらの均衡分析や余剰分析の方法を説明する。
|

|
In this lecture, we will take up imperfect competitions, such as monopoly, duopoly and oligopoly externalities, as well as market failures, to use as examples for applying basic microeconomic theories; and we will also explain equilibrium and surplus analytic methods for examining tangible issues, such as consumption tax.

授業中に行うミニ課題(40%)と期末試験(60%)により総合的に評価する。期末試験の解答は、日本語と英語のみ可とする。

A comprehensive evaluation based upon in-class mini-assignments (40%) and class participation (60%). The final examination can only be taken in English or Japanese.

本講義では、授業中にミニ課題という形で、その日の授業内容を踏まえた演習問題を行う。そのため、受講者は遅刻などのないように、集中して講義を受けることを期待したい。

This course will employ an in-class mini-assignment format and will conduct exercises based upon lecture contents. Therefore, it is expected that students be punctual to class and concentrate during class.
