To understand basic principles and rules of international law concerning international security, armed conflict, and international criminal justice.

15回で国際法の上記分野に関する専門的な知見を修得できるよう、講義初回配布の詳細なレジュメ･資料に従って講義がなされる。補足説明は口頭及び板書による。

1. International law is generally divided into two parts: so-called 'peace-time' rules, and those on conflict resolution between States and prevention of war. This course will focus on the latter field. After describing the basic structure of international society and international law, principles and rules on international security, armed conflict and international criminal justice will be explained.
2. Detailed hand-out and other materials will be distributed at the first session of this class.

１．筆記試験に70%の配点を与え、残30％は講義中の学生からの自発的質問回数その他の受講態度(出欠状況を含む)による。
２．筆記試験は、日本語で出題されるが解答は日本語又は英語のいずれか一方でよい。筆記試験における資料等の持ち込みは一切認められない。

講義レジュメ･資料の次回実施分及び参考書該当箇所を事前に精読し、条約が出てくる場合には条約集で条文を確認する。講義における口頭説明及び板書等をレジュメやノートに記録し、講義後にさらに自己のノートにまとめなおすという法学科目に共通する学習方法をとることが要求される。

It is required to read designated parts of hand-out, materials, and textbooks before each class. If it is referring to specific treaty articles, students need to check these texts. It is also required to review after each session.

１．講義ではレジュメ･資料参照、口頭説明聴取、及び板書記録を要求されるから、電子的装置を使用する必要はなく、その使用は禁止される。使用者は減点の対象になることがある。レジュメ等参照、口頭説明聴取又は板書記録のいずれか一またはそれ以上について電子的装置の支援を必要とする特段の事情がある場合には講義初回に申し出て許可を得ること。
２．講義中の学生からの自発的質問は加点される。講義前後の質問は妨げられないが加点されない。
