The goal of this lecture is to give basic concepts and theories of ethnopolitics in order to understand and analyze cultural and social differences in the contemporary world.

歴史的にヨーロッパ社会で「他者」と見なされて差別されてきたユダヤ人を取り上げ、その表象がどのように歴史的に形成され、またどのように自らの表象を獲得し、さらに批判されるようになったのか、またそこから今日のイスラエル・パレスチナ問題がどのように生じ、いかなる困難を抱えているのか、具体的な映像やテクストの作品を通じて分析する。

講義期間中の２回のアクティヴラーニングのレポート（50％）、学期末の課題レポート（50％）で評価する。ただし３つの課題すべてを提出しなければ成績評価の対象としない。

授業で扱う映像や文学品、課題については授業の冒頭で示すので、授業参加者はそれらの作品を鑑賞し、その背景を自分で学んでおくこと。
