古代から現代に及ぶテュルク民族の歴史を概観することにより、彼らが世界史の展開において果たした役割を理解するとともに、世界史への新しい視座を得ることを目標とする。

By overviewing the historical development of the Turks this class aims to understand their roles in the world history as well as to provide new approaches to the world history.

テュルク民族の歴史は古代のモンゴル高原に始まるが、その後彼らの活動は中央アジアから西アジアに及び、現代ではヨーロッパやロシアにおいても存在感を示している。授業では彼らの動態に富んだ歴史をたどることにより、あらためて世界史の展開を見直すことにしたい。

Grading is made by a final examination(70%) as well as comments noted on responce papers(30%
).

事前学習として、指定した参考書あらかじめよく読んだ上ですること。また、教員の指示に従って、参考文献などを利用しながら、授業後の復習を行うこと。
