本授業の目標は、受講者がモンゴル地域研究に必要な知識と手法、教場報告とレポートを作成する技術を身に付けることです。これにより、4年次の卒業論文執筆作業に必要な知識、技術を身に付け、適切な問題を自ら設定できるようになることを目指します。

The aim of this class is to get the basic knowledge and techniques to choose the themes, collect and read materials, and prepare for thesises on the Mongolian studies.
|
|
|
|
モンゴル高原で遊牧社会を形成してきたモンゴル人は、中央ユーラシアの一部を形成し、歴史を紡いできました。本授業では、「モンゴルと中央ユーラシア」という視点から、モンゴルに関する諸問題を受講者各自に取り上げてもらい、報告、レポートを作成してもらいます。この作業を通じて、モンゴル地域研究に必要な資料の調査、収集、読解の方法、報告、レポートの技術を習得してもらい、4年次の卒業論文作成の準備を行ってもらうことになります。

In this class, every student should choose his/her theme about Mongolia and Central Eurasia, and make your report and papers about your theme. You also learn the methods to research materials, write papers, and prepare to write your thesis.

報告の評価基準：問題設定が適切にできているか、十分な調査ができているか、論理的な構成で報告を作成できているか。
アクティブ・ラーニングの評価基準：関連史料を適切に日本語訳できているか、研究に必要な史料の読み方を身に付けているか。
レポートの評価基準：問題設定が適切にできているか、十分な調査ができているか、自分の意見を論理的に論述しているか。

The evaluation criteria of the presentation: to set the theme correctly, to investigate relevant materials for the presentation and to make the presentation logically.
The evaluation criteria of the active learning: to translate relevant materials into Japanese correctly and to acquire how to read relevant materials for academic reports.
The evaluation criteria of the report: to set the theme correctly, to investigate relevant materials to write the report and to argue your opinion logically.

以下に指定する参考書を読むことにより、授業の内容をよりよく理解できます。また、優れた報告、レポート作成のために、毎回の授業における討論、指導を受けながら、設定した問題に対する調査を日々進めていく必要があります。

In order to write a good reports and papers, you should receive a teacher’s guidance and research about your theme every day.
|
|
|
モンゴルを理解し、モンゴルに関する研究を行うためには、モンゴルだけでなく、広く東アジア、中央ユーラシアの情勢を考慮する必要があります。受講者には、モンゴルはもちろん、東アジア、中央ユーラシアにも広く興味を持ってもらうことを期待します。
また、他の受講者の報告に対する討論に積極的に関わることにより、自分自身の知識、問題意識も磨かれていきます。自分の報告担当の回だけでなく、毎回の授業に積極的に参加することが求められます。
なお、モンゴル地域研究で卒業論文・卒業研究を作成する学生は、3年次にこの授業を履修しておく必要があります。

You need to know about the situations of Central Eurasia in order to understand and study the Mongolian history. You should attend every class with positive attitudes. Junior students who will submit thesis on “Mongolian studies” should attend the class.
