この授業は次の3点を目標とする。
(1) 幅広い領域で進展の著しい中央アジア研究の最新の動向にふれる。
(2) 演習の中で各自の発表能力と議論する力を高める。
(3) 卒業論文で取り組むテーマを選定し、そのために必要な知識と方法を身につける。
とりわけ、第3の点が達成の基準となる。

This seminar aims the following three points.
1.Learning the latest research trends in Central Asian studies
2.Improving participants' ability of presentation and discussion
3.Presenting guidance to a graduation thesis

中央アジア地域研究に関する最近の研究論文や論説（日本語あるいは英語、ロシア語）を出席者の関心に応じて順次取り上げ、毎回その論文に関する報告とこれを受けての質問・討議を行う。
|
|
|
|
In this seminar students are required to make a presentation based on researches on Central Asian area studies. Every presentation is followed by discussion among participants.

最初の数回の授業で中央アジア地域研究の現状を概観するとともに、最近の研究成果を検索する方法について説明する。その後、受講者各自の関心に応じて取り上げる研究論文を決定し、準備のできた順に報告をしてもらう。報告者は取り上げる研究論文の内容を要約し、疑問点や問題点を記したレジュメを用意する。他の受講者は事前にその論文を読んだ上で演習に出席し、報告者によるレポートを受けて質疑に参加する。
アクティブ・ラーニングとして、指定されたウェブサイトから中央アジア関係の報道記事を選択し、その内容についてレポートを作成・提出する。

Following the general introduction to Central Asian area studies, every student can select the subject of presentation according to his/her own interests.
Active learning: Preparing a report based on news articles relating to Central Asia, published on the recommended websites

分担した報告の内容と毎回の質疑への参加度に学期中のレポートを加えて総合的に評価する。
|
|
|
|
Grading is done given every student's efforts for his/her own presentation, the degree of participation in discussion and the final report.

|
取り上げるテキストはあらかじめよく読み、問題点や疑問点を整理した上で演習に出席すること。
|
|
|
|
Preparation is required for every class. Reading distributed texts is very important.
|
|
|
|
卒業論文の作成を前提とし、かつ受講者の報告と討議を主体とした演習なので、積極的に取り組んでほしい。取り上げるテキストは、毎回必ず事前に読んでくること。また、授業の性格上、通年で受講することが望ましい。
