授業の目標   
インドネシアの社会、文化、歴史について卒業論文を執筆または卒業研究を制作する者を対象に指導をおこなう。具体的な目標は以下のとおりである。
1) 論理的でわかりやすい文章を作成することができる。
2）参考文献を正しく引用することができる。
3）討論を通じて分析と理解を深めることができる。
 
Goals of the course   
The course is designed to instruct those who are preparing a BA thesis (or equivalent work) related to Indonesian society, culture or history. To complete a BA thesis, at the end of the course, students will be able to:
(1) write a logical and readable paper;
(2) quote sources correctly;
(3) deepen their analysis and understanding through discussion.
(4) write an academic report with appropriate PC applications;
(5) participate in and organize an academic discussion.
 
授業の概要   
卒業論文または卒業研究（以下、卒論）に関連するレジュメおよびレポートを発表してもらい、議論をすることで卒論の作成を支援する。並行して卒論作成に必要な技法を指導する。受講生の数および状況に応じて変更することがある。受講生の進度にあわせて個別に指導をおこなう。
 
Overview of the course   
The course is designed to assist students in writing a BA thesis or other research works through discussion based on their reports and instruction on necessary skills.

成績評価の方法・基準   
発表の内容と討論への参加（30%）およびレポート（70%）により評価する。
 
Grading system for assessment   
Evaluation will be based on participation in class activities (30%) and reports (70%).
 
事前・事後学習【要する時間の目安】   
毎回の授業には、指定された参考文献を読んでおくこと。
 
Preview/review   
Students are required to read books and articles according to the instructor's instruction.
 
履修上の注意   
討論への積極的な参加が期待される。
