The theme of this course is “perceptions and the arts.” The first lecture will give you a basic knowledge about the study area of “Culture and Representation.” Other lectures will be given on the theme of “perceptions and the arts.” Though the perception is a physiological phenomena, it is regulated by culture, that means perceptions need to be understood in the context of history of ideology. Based on this idea, learners will study about the art they are interested in and make presentation to the class. Discussions will follow each presentation.
