東南アジアの社会・文化について、個別の事例をあげながら文化人類学の視点からさまざまな切り口を紹介し、社会理解のツールを身につける。

The aim of this lecture is to get the basic knowledge about the Anthropological theories on Southeast Asian countries.
|

異文化理解、他者理解、異文化間接触等について出されているさまざまな理論的背景をもとに、東南アジア社会の事例をあげながら、社会や文化理解につなげる。

|
|
|
This course is desinged to develop the knowledge on the Anthropological theories and to get the ability or the tools to understand the cultures of Southeast Asian countries.

第1回：イントロダクション
第2回：東南アジア概観（生態的視点から）
第3回:「文化」理解と民族誌（観察を通じて他者を理解することはどのようなことか、いかにそれを記述するかを東南アジアの文化を例にとりながら、考察する）
第4・5回：課題：ある集団を観察によって理解するということはいかなることかを実践的に理解する（アクティブ・ラーニング）
第6・7回：フィールドワークと観察（課題の報告を行い、参加者の周りの社会、集団などの観察をもとに考察する）
第８回：議論（「他者理解」と「分析」について）
第９回：家族と親族（東南アジアの親族論と現代の家族）
第10回：セクシュアリティとジェンダー、扶養
第11回：交換と経済
第12・13回：宗教と福祉
第14回：病いと健康、伝統医療
第15回：総括

The course is divided into two major sections:
to understand the discipline of Anthropology, and to acquire the basic ability how to understand the other's culture and society
1.Introduction
2.Geography and Ecology of SEA
3.Theories on "cultures"and ethnography
4-5.Understanding the others and writing "ethnography":To write report about community/association which you know well
6-7. Field work and observation of the other
8. Discussion about the method how to understand the other
9, Family and kinship in SEA
10. Sexuality and Gender
11. Exchange system and Economics
12-13. Religion and Welfare
14.Illness and health seeking behavior, traditional medicine
15.Discussion

以下の課題の理解度、参加を見ながら総合的に評価する。
・毎回のコメントシート提出により理解度を評価 20％
・課題提出と議論への参加を評価 20％
・学期末のレポートにより理解度を評価 60％

You will be evaluated on the following tasks:
1)To write the comment on the comment sheet
2)To write report about community/association which you know well
3)To write report which will be required before the end of the term

授業内で紹介した関連文献を読むなどして理解を深める。

The assignment will be instructed in class.

講義を中心にするが、出席者の発表、考察が重要となるので、積極的な参加を期待する。
