文学テクストをどのように読むか、実践的に体得する場とする。とりわけ、物語理論における論点を念頭に置きつつ、テクストを読む力を身につける。ドイツ語を読む力そのものをさらに高めていくことも目指すが、とくにさまざまな話法に焦点を当てる。

物語理論における基本的な概念や考え方について、実例とともに概観的なレクチャーを行ったあと、シュニッツラーの「死人に口無し」を数回に分けて読む。また、参加者に自分自身のとりあげたいテクストについて発表してもらう。他の参加者もそのテクストをあらかじめ読み、ディスカッションを行なう。

After brief lectures on key concepts and ideas of narratology, A. Schnitzler's Novel "Die Toten schweigen" will be read and discussed. The participants also give a presentation according to the text which interests them in terms of narratological features.

It is expected to read the theoretical texts suggested below.

講読していくテクストでは基本的にドイツ語を用いるが、ドイツ語を履修していない参加者がいる場合、配慮する。発表の対象はドイツ文学に必ずしも限定しない。

German ability is required. To participants without knowledge of German, consideration will be made by using Japanese or English translations.
