Goals of the course
[British Literature in the Age of Modernism]
This course covers the great cultural heritages produced in the so-called modernist period (1890-1939). While we read the major literary works of this period, contemporary arts and social conditions should be taken into consideration. At the same time, what each student must acquire is contextual understanding of the difficult conditions humankind faced in this period.
