日本語の会話の特徴を客観的に分析し、自身の話し方を振り返り、よりよいコミュニケーションとは何かを考える。コミュニケーション教育、日本語教育への活かし方も検討する。

At the end of the course, the successful students should:
1.Be able to analyze Japanese conversations and reflect better communication methods.
2.Be able to consider application of conversation data analysis into communication/Japanese teaching fields.

|
まず、会話データを見ながら、その特徴を分析する練習を行い、日本語の会話の特徴を考える。次に、受講者自身の雑談の会話をビデオ撮影し、それを視聴して分析を行う。さらに、雑談、ロールプレイ、話し合い、スピーチなどの会話データを分析し、それぞれの特徴を探る。最後に、受講者が収集してきた会話データを文字化し、レポートにまとめ、発表を行う。
同時に、会話データ分析の研究の変遷を知り、その研究成果を教育などの実践に活かしてきた事例に触れることで、会話データ分析の実践への活かし方を検討する。

This course provides students with opportunities to analyze Japanese conversations (e.g., chatting, roleplaying, discussions, speech) including their own conversations and discuss how to teach them in communication/Japanese class. At the end of the course, students give a presentation about their own conversationa analysis and write a paper on it.
