授業の目標   
応用言語学・第二言語習得(SLA)分野の新しい潮流、特に、社会・文化的パースペクティブ、及び、その視点から日本語教育・習得研究を理解する。また、卒論執筆への基礎を培う。
 
Goals of the course   
To understand new trends in applied linguistics and second language acquisition (SLA), especially socio-culture.　 Learners will look at Japanese education and study research from the socio-cultural perspective and cultivate the basic skills necessary for writing a graduation thesis.
 
授業の概要   
テキストの読解と討論を通じて社会・文化的パースペクティブによるSLAを理解する。日本語学習者へのインタビュー調査等のフィールドワークを行う。両者を通じて、卒論執筆への基礎を培う。
 
Overview of the course   
Students are expected to understand SLA through the socio-cultural perspectives by reading textbooks and discussing the topics involved. They will also conduct field work, such as interview surveys of Japanese learners. Students will cultivate the basic skills necessary for writing a graduation thesis through these activities.

受講時の平常点、発表、提出物（ブックレポート、学期末レポート）によって総合的に評価する。

Comprehensive grading based on class participation, presentations and submission of assignments (book reports, term-end reports).

テキストを読んでくること。発表者は発表を準備してくること。

当該教員を指導教員とする者に限る。2学期の授業も履修することを前提とする。
