第二言語習得理論研究の成果をベースに、教室環境における言語習得・学習過程の研究手段・結果を包括的に理解し、論文執筆等に役立てる。

Based on the study about second language acquisition theory, the students will acquire comprehensive understanding of the research methods and results of language learning/studying process in the classrooms. It will help students write graduation thesis.

テキスト（VanPatten & Williams (ed.), 2015）を担当者を中心に理解したことをまとめ、発表し、一層理解を深め、内容について議論する。得られた知見を自身の論文作成等に生かすことができるようにする。

|
Summarize one chapter from the textbook （VanPatten & Williams (ed.), 2015） and make presentation about what you have learned. A discussions after your presentation will help you deepen your knowledge further. Knowledge you acquire through this course will help you write a graduation thesis.

第二言語習得理論に関わるさまざまな理論についてまとめがなされている VanPatten & Williams（(ed.)，2015）を、受講生の希望の章ごとに、発表とディスカッション等により授業を進めていく。できる限り一回に１トピックを終えることを目標に、担当者の発表とディスカッション等により授業を進めていく。
春学期でカバーできなかった章と第８～13章である。

Students will select one out of the chapters of VanPatten & Williams（2015）, where various theories regarding the second language acquisition are summarized, then make presentations and discussions in each class.
In the autumn semester, we address the chapters which we were not able to cover in the spring semester as well as from Chapter 8 to 13. We try to complete one topic in each class.

発表者は授業後にまとめ、報告書として提出する（50点）。また、授業中のプレゼンテーションのための資料・参考資料を含めた発表内容（50点）を加味して、総合的に判断する。

Based on the combined evaluation of reports submitted by presenters after each lecture (50%) and presentations including reference materials (50%).

各自でテキストを事前に購入し,担当希望の章をきめておくとよい。
