Title（English）   
Thesis Research Seminar
 
授業の目標   
言語学に関連する研究テーマで卒業論文・卒業研究に取り組む受講者を対象とし、研究テーマの選び方、研究仮説を立て方、データの集め方・扱い方、先行文献の読み方、論文の書き方などを学び、自分で卒業論文に向けて研究ができるようになる。
 
Goals of the course   
By the end of the quarter, students will demonstrate:

(a) the ability to plan a research project for their graduation thesis,
(b) the ability to collect data for the project,
(c) the ability to make an analysis of the collected data, and
(d) the ability to write an academic paper based on their own data and analysis.
 
授業の概要   
言語研究および論文執筆に関わる一般論を確認した上で、それぞれの研究計画、途中経過、研究上の問題点などを各自の進度に応じて発表してもらう。お互いの論文の輪読も行う。
 
Overview of the course   
Through this course, students can learn how to write research papers on linguistics.
