英語の意味論と語用論に関する基本的な概念を学びながら、英語の様々な現象が分析できるようになる。特に、意味や機能の観点から言語現象を分析できるようになる。

課題とされた論文を担当者が発表する。発表後に、全体で議論を行う。また、適宜、研究発表も行う。
