情報技術を使った言語研究(言語分析・電子辞書・形態素分析・構文分析・計量言語学・計算言語学・認知言語学等)やそれらの結果としてのコーパスや語学教育教材の構築、語学教育システム（e-Learning）等の研究テーマを希望する学生の卒論作成を目的とします。

The purpose of this course is the writing of a thesis for those students wishing to write a graduation thesis on research themes related to linguistic research (language analysis, electronic dictionaries, morphological analysis, syntactic analysis, computational linguistics, cognitive linguistics etc.) and the construction of corpus and language teaching materials that resulted and language teaching systems (e-Learning), etc.

The students will write a graduation thesis.

仮決定した卒論テーマ（3年生の演習）とテーマに関係する参考文献（学会論文誌等）の調査に基づき、卒論テーマの絞り込みを行います。
(1) 研究の概要や内容の発表と報告、研究進捗の説明などを、プレゼンテーションの訓練も兼ねて演習時間に実施します。テーマを決め次第、卒論内容の議論を進めます。
(2) 論文の作成技術について以下の項目を学習します。
・論文の作成手順
・文章の書き方1(論証方法と厳密性)
・文章の書き方2(文法構造と論述内容の関係)
・論文の構成設計と論旨展開の類型
・記述の形式と書き方。文章構成法

The students will narrow down their graduation thesis themes based on their tentative graduation thesis themes (exercises for third year students) and examination of reference books (academic journals, etc.) relevant to their themes.
(1) Presentations and reports on research outlines and content, and descriptions of research development, etc., will be implemented during the exercises and will serve as training in giving presentations, as well. Discussions on the contents of the graduation theses will proceed as soon as themes have been decided.
(2) The students will learn the following techniques for writing their graduation theses.
･How to write articles 1 (logical argument methods and stringency)
･How to write articles 2 (the relationship between grammar structure and thesis content)
･Planning the structure of the thesis and the patterns in developing arguments
･Thesis formats and its writing methods. Methods of structuring articles.

Grading will be based on the contents in the graduation thesis.
|
|
|
|
配布資料には予め目を通し、関心のある点や概念把握が難しい点などを演習中に質問できるように準備しておくこと。
|
|
|
|
言語情報処理論(講義)及び、その演習を受講していること。もしくは情報科学基礎科目、言語情報学科目、対照言語学基礎科目、言語学基礎科目、音声学基礎科目、言語記述基礎科目などを受講していることが望ましい。
上記以外の場合は，相談の上、決めます。

The students must have taken言語情報処理論 (lecture) or the exercise course. It is desirable that the students have taken basic courses in information science, linguistic information studies, contrastive linguistics, linguistics, phonetics, language description, statistical science, etc.
The teacher will consult with students who have not taken the courses listed above.
