言語学の基本を押さえた上で、ヒンディー語、ウルドゥー語に関するレポート（３年次論文）を作成することを目標とする。

To prepare 3rd-year report relating with South Asian languages.

現代インド・アーリヤ諸語のうち、ウルドゥー語およびヒンディー語を中心に扱う。

Hindi and Urdu are mainly dealt in the class.

本授業の担当教員が金曜２限に開講している概論科目、および木曜４限に開講している講義科目で学んだ内容を踏まえて、受講生の関心にしたがった、言語に関する内容のレポート（３年次論文）を作成する。
毎授業時にはその進捗状況を報告し、その内容に関する質疑応答をして、レポート内容をより深めていく。
なお、作成するレポートは、４年次で作成する卒業論文（もしくは卒業研究）に関連する内容が望ましいが、必ずしも関連づける必要はない。また、内容は、言語に関するものであれば特に限定はしない。
受講生の人数によるが、少なくとも月に１回は受講生が作成するレポートに関する内容をプレゼンテーションする機会を設けるので、順番が回ってきた場合は、必ず発表すること。

The students are expected to prepare a "3rd-year report (thesis)" during the class. In every class, the students will present the situation on their own report (thesis) once a month at least.
The students should attend the Friday 2nd and Thursday 4th periods of the teacher before attending this class.

春期木曜４限の授業を受講済み（年度は問わない）であることが望ましい。基本的に、授業内容は、春期の授業内容を理解していることを前提とする。
連絡なく５回以上欠席した場合は、いかなる理由があろうと、単位認定は行わない。病気等で欠席する場合は、事後でもかまわないので、必ず連絡すること。連絡先は以下のとおり。
