The aim of this course is for students to understand and describe synchronic and diachronic aspects of Tai-Kadai languages.

タイ・カダイ諸語に含まれる言語をいくつか取り上げ、それぞれの言語の共時的、通時的特徴を整理した後、それらを比較対照し、タイ・カダイ諸語の特質を探る。

Students will select some of the Tai-Kadai languages and compare them in all levels of language structure in order to explore specific characteristics of this language group.
