毎回の授業で一つのテーマを扱う。学校文法では当たり前とされた内容を、言語学的な観点から再検討していく。多くの例文を観察しつつ、先行研究で述べられていることを検証しながら、進めていく。

ワークシートを単元ごとに提出する（70％）また学期末に口頭発表（30%）を行う。これらの成果を総合的に判断して成績を評価する。
