国際法概論
 
Title（English）   
Foundations of International Law
 
授業の目標   
　「国際社会の法」としての国際法の基本構造について理解し、その存在形態について説明できるようになる。
　条約法や人権の国際的保障等の事項について問題点を把握し、分析することができるようになる。
 
Goals of the course   
1.Understand the basics of International Law
2.Identify discussions relevant to the law of treaties and International protection of human rights.
 
授業の概要   
　国際法の総論部分および各論部分の一部について講義を行う。国際法概論B、国際法A.Bとあわせて、国際法学の体系全般について概説する。
 
Overview of the course   
The primary object of this course is to introduce the framework of International Law.
The course focuses on historical evolution, nature, structure and function of International Law.

成績評価の方法・基準   
２回の中間レポートにより、目標に掲げた国際法の基本構造と存在形態に関する理解を計る。（合計50％）
期末試験（定期試験期間中に実施）により、目標に掲げた諸分野における問題点の把握と分析に関する力を計る。（50％）

Submission of a Research Report 50%
Final Exam 50%
 
事前・事後学習【要する時間の目安】   
あらかじめ指定されている各回の事例研究について学習したうえで授業に臨むこと。

Students are expected to read the Case Studies for each class.
