Title（English）   
Introduction to Grammar of Modern Japanese
 
授業の目標   
日本語文法の概要に関するやや専門的な知識を得るとともに、他言語文法の習得のための手堅い基盤を養う。
 
Goals of the course   
To get relatively advanced knowledge of grammar of Japanese, and obtain the basis of learning grammars of other languages
 
授業の概要   
日本語の文は述語によって決まる。この授業では、述語論の全体像を概説したのち、述語論に関わる諸問題を取り上げる。授業は講義が中心となるが、より深い理解に至るため、各々が自身の手と頭を使い、現実の用例を検討するという作業も随時取り入れる。
 
Overview of the course   
Sentences of Japanese are defined by predicates. In the class, after providing the overview of predicate studies, I will address various issues concerning predicate studies. The class is mainly conducted with lectures, but a few exercises are included.

成績評価の方法・基準   
アクティブラーニングの提出物（30%程度）と、最終回に実施する理解度の確認（70%程度）による。詳細は初回授業時に説明する。

配布プリントに事前に目を通しておくこと。授業後、内容を整理して知識の定着を図ること。
