「アジア太平洋地域に築く平和で包摂的な社会」――「コンフリクト耐性」を培う能動学習
 
Title(English)   
Building Peaceful and Inclusive Societies in the Asia-Pacific. Active Learning for "Conflict Resilience"
 
授業の目標   
日本含むアジア4か国を船で移動し、洋上学習とフィールドワークをつうじて、地域の現実と課題について集中的に学ぶ。
 
Goals of the course   
Students will engage in onboard seminars and field work in four Asian cities (Tokyo, Xiamen, Singapore, and Yangon), and understand global issues reflected in local realities.
 
授業の概要   
2017年8月10日から8月28日にかけて実施。8月11日および12日に東京での実習をおこなったうえで、13日に横浜から船で出発。厦門(中国)、シンガポール、ヤンゴン(ミャンマー)に寄港。8月27日および28日のヤンゴンでの実習を終えた後、同地から航空機で帰国(30日東京着予定)。船上および寄港地では「ピースボート地球大学」の参加者とともに、もっぱら英語で講義をうけ、討議をおこない、フィールドワークに参加する。事前学習として、オンライン・セッションへの参加も課される予定。
 
Overview of the course   
The course will take place between 10 and 28 August 2017. It begins with a two-day field work in Tokyo on 11 and 12 August. Students will then set sail from Yokohama on 13 August towards Yangon (Myanmar). On the way, the ship will call at Xiamen (China), and Singapore. The course ends with the field work in Yangon on 27 and 28 August. The students are expected to be back in Tokyo by 30 August. Onboard Peace Boat, students will join Peace Boat’s Global University students and participate in lectures, discussions, and workshops conducted entirely in English. There will also be online preparatory sessions before the programme.

履修上の注意   
履修者は、4月から5月に公募のうえ選抜する。
旅費の一部を履修者に補助する。
本授業は、機能強化経費「コンフリクト耐性」プロジェクトの一環として開講される。
 
Notes   
Participants will be picked among the applicants.
Call for the application will be announced between April and May.
Travel expenses will be partially covered by TUFS educational project"Conflict Resilience".
