春学期は、移民受け入れ国であるオーストラリアの教育を概観する。オーストラリア観光局が提供する学習素材や、オーストラリア連邦政府が提供する、公認留学エージェントの資格取得用の教材を用い、オーストラリアという国とそこで行われている教育について、基本的な知識を獲得する。

Using as much English as possible over learning about education in multicultural Australia. The course deals with African countries as sources of migrants. By the end of the course, students can have a general view of Australia and Australian education.

基本的に素材は事前に読み込んでくることになるため、内容理解の確認と、補充素材による発展読解、ディスカッションも行う。公認留学カウンセラーの資格取得には別途試験があるため、本講座ではあくまで素材として扱い、受験は任意によるものとする。適宜、理解度を確認する目的でディスカッションや論点整理などを行う。

This course aims overviewing education in Australia as a migration destination and a multicultural country. Students will learn through materials to train education agents, offered by Federal government of Australia. Actual trial to take qualification is optional, but this course goes along the exam preparation materials. To enrich the course, active discussion and presentations will be required.

毎回の授業には、指定された参考文献をあらかじめ読んだ上で出席すること。また別途指示により、オンライン教材による学習も課される。
