多分野の英文を早く正確に読む力と、批判的思考力を身につける。TOEIC 900点レベルを目標とする。

The focus of this course will be to help students to read English quickly and correctly, and to develop critical thinking. (TOEIC score: 900)

多様な英文を読み、読解と批判読みのスキルを学ぶ。発音、語彙、構文、論理、背景文化などに注目して読んでいく。トピックについてのディスカッションの他、グループによる共同学習も行う。

|
Students will be exposed to a variety of readings to develop a range of reading skills and critical thinking. They are expected to pay attention to pronunciation, words, sentence structure, logic and cultural context. Discussion on the topic and other group activities will be conducted in the class.

Students will be evaluated according to the following criteria: ELC assignments (10%), class participation (30%), assignments, weekly quizzes, and final exam (60%)
