To develop "comprehension" skills in English, especially the ability to read and listen analytically and critically, and to respond intelligently through discussions and presentations.

Each class students will practice a variety of reading and listening skills by listening to parts of lectures and watching parts of documentaries.

Grades will be determined as follows: Mid-Term Assignment (20%), Final Assignment (20%), Attendance, Participation, and Homework (50%), ELC Assignments (10%)

Students must prepare for each class by completing the assigned tasks.Students are expected to attend all classes, to be on time, and to use English at all times.
