The goal of this course is to help students develop listening and notetaking skills required to understand lectures in authentic English. (TOEIC score: 900)

|
実際の大学講義を用いた教科書を使い、語彙、推測、要約などの問題を解きながら、リスニングとノートの取り方を身につける。音読の練習も行う。このほか、最新ニュース、演説、歌などを用いてリスニングスキルの向上を目指す。

|
By using the textbook based on authentic academic lectures, students will enhance their listening ability and note-taking skills through a series of activities related to vocabulary, prediction and summarization. Oral reading in pairs or in groups will be a part of the lesson. The instructor will supply additional materials such as latest news, famous speeches, and popular songs to help students improve their listening skills.
