Interactive English: Production

The goal of this class is to develop your English production abilities: speaking and writing. You will focus on improving spoken fluency and interaction skills, as well as discussion and debating skills. In addition, you will develop your skills of giving short presentations, in small groups and for the whole class. You will also improve your academic writing skills - in particular, paragraphs and short essays, as well as outlines and speaking notes for your presentations.

We will focus on improving spoken fluency and interaction skills in the beginning and gradually develop skills for holding group discussions and debating a wide range of topics as the course goes on. Students will speak with each other in pairs and groups, and give mini-presentations in small groups or short presentations for the whole class. Students will be required to participate actively in class. The language of instruction and all communication in class will be English. Please see detailed schedule below.
