定期試験の成績(70%)、及び授業への参加の度合いなど平常点(30%)を勘案して総合的に評価する。

テキストに予め目を通し、疑問点を授業中に質問できるように準備しておくこと。
教員の指示に従って、参考書等を利用しながら授業後の復習を行なうこと。

オセアニア地域の学生で事前に許可された者のみが履修できる。それ以外の受講は認めない。
「会話１Ｂ [SIN171C1BX]」とあわせて２コマ同時に履修すること（２コマ２単位を一括して評価する）。
授業への積極的な参加が要求される。
授業の運営に関わる必要事項は別途指示する。
「授業の計画」に記した各回の学習事項のうち、毎回15分程度に相当する練習について、アクティブラーニングとして課題を課す。

This course forms a combination with Conversation 1B. Students are required to attend both Conversation 1A and Conversation 1B through the semester.
Active participation is always required in the class.
15 minute exercises will be assigned each week as active learning.
