1）身近な時事問題で使用されている語彙や表現を理解することができる。
2）ニュースや新聞で取り上げられている身近な時事問題を聞いたり読んだりして、概要を理解することができる。
3）身近な時事問題についてスピーチをしたり、ディスカッションしたりできる。

Aimed at students that have completed the 500 or equivalent level, learners will become able to manage the following tasks that focus on familiar current events.
1) To be able to understand the words and expressions used to convey everyday current events.
2) To be able to listen to and read about everyday current issues, on the news and in the newspapers, and understand the overall concepts.
3) To be able to give speeches and participate in discussion about familiar current affairs.
