500あるいは同等レベルを修了した学生を対象に、日常生活のやや複雑な場面において自分の意思を伝え、相手とコミュニケーションが取れるようにする。また、抽象的なテーマについてプレゼンテーション、ディベートやディスカッションができるようにする。

This course is designed for students who have completed level 500 or those who are at the advanced level. At the end of the course students should be able to negotiate and communicate with others in complicated situations. Also, students should be able to debate, discuss, and deliver a presentation on abstract themes.

以下のことが適切にできるように練習を行う。
1） 依頼と断り、謝罪等少し複雑な場面におけるロール・プレイ練習。
2） 根拠のある意見表明のプレゼンテーション、ディスカッションやディベート等を行う。

Students will practice to perform the following things adequately:
1) To ask, refuse, and apologize in some complex situations through role-plays.
2) To deliver opinions with reasons in presentations, discussions, and debates.
