To enhance the students' capability and proficiency on the Filipino language. To develop their confidence in expressing themselves using the language. At the end of the course, the students are expected to at least be able to describe people and events including their day to day experiences using basic sentence structures.

Each lesson will include sample sentences, vocabularies, commonly used expressions and grammatical explanations following each dialogue/script written in Filipino. Students are required to keep their own journal/diary to be submitted at the end of each week.

Students will be evaluated through class participation, written exams, oral presentations, assignments and projects.
