The aim of this course is to improve the students' reading skills and general knowledge of English through reading an introduction to linguistic science.

Vyvyan Evans著の『The Language Myth: Why Language is not an Instinct』を丁寧に読んでいく。毎回の授業では、最初に内容に関する小テストを行う。また、宿題も毎回課す。
