第1学年（Russian I）で学習したロシア語の文法の知識や基礎的な会話、読解、聞取、手紙の作文能力をもとに次のことを目指す。
1) 既知の、あるいは興味あるテーマに関するダイアローグに参加し、さまざまな事実や、自分の理想、希望、願いについて語り、自分の見解や意図を説明し、短いストーリーもしくはプロットを話したうえでそれに対する自分の意見を解説する。
2) 日常生活もしくは文化一般に関する短いテキストを読み、理解する。
3) 日常的生活に関するごく普通のやり取りもしくは文化一般に関するテーマについて文法的に正しくかつゆっくり語られる内容を聞き取る。
4) 既知の、あるいは興味あるテーマに関して簡単な連絡メモや個人的な手紙の様式で自分の思いや印象を表現する。

Apply Level 1 knowledge of Russian grammar and elementary oral, reading,listening, and writing skills to subsequently learn to:
1. Participate in dialogue about familiar subjects and/or topics of interest, describe past events/ impressions/ dreams/desires, talk about views and intentions, recount short stories and express opinion on the subject matter;
2. Read and comprehend short passages about household and/or general cultural topics;
3. Understand literary-correct and clear speech regarding every-day activities and/or general cultural topics;
4. Write short and coherent passages about familiar subjects and/or topics of interest as well as personal letters describing emotions and past experiences.

上記目標を達成するために、毎回の授業ではテキストを読み、語彙・文法を習得し、いろいろなシチュエーションを想定したダイアローグを学ぶ。それに加えてさまざまなテーマで短い語りや聞取りも行う。その結果、ロシア語でのやり取りがより楽になり、間違いが少なくなり、使える語彙が増える。宿題は自習2時間以上を目途として授業で取り上げたテーマでのまとめや作文などの課題を課す。

To achieve course objectives, each class will consist of reading texts, performing vocabulary and grammar exercises, preparing situational dialogues and short stories as well as listening exercises. These activities will allow the student to learn how to confidently speak Russian utilizing proper grammar and broad
vocabulary. Course load includes assignments related to preparation of short essays or summaries based on topics covered in class as well as other tasks. Approximately 2 hours of independent homework will be required
following each class.

あらかじめ教科書の解説を読み、単語の意味や使い方を調べて、授業での練習に備える。
授業後は添付CD等の音声教材を使い、アクセントやイントネーションに気を配りながら発音する練習を行う。
定期的に課される補足練習や発展課題にも取り組む。

Please prepare for each lesson by reading the explanations from the text book and study new words.
After the lesson please listen to the CD and practice your pronunciation, paying attention to accent and intonation.
Please submit your regular homework in time.
