授業の目標   
イディッシュ語の基礎が身につき、ヘブライ文字の読み書きや、イディッシュ語の会話ができるようになります。様々なことばと人の関係について、理解を深めることができます。
 
Goals of the course   
By the end of the course, you will be able to read and write Hebrew alphabet and do the daily conversation using basic Yiddish grammar. Students will also deepen their understanding of the relations between people and language in general.
 
授業の概要   
ヘブライ文字とイディッシュ語の基礎的な文法を学びます。毎回会話と読み書きの練習をします。講師のフィールドでの体験談を交えながらイディッシュ語の世界を紹介します。イディッシュ語話者をゲストとして迎える予定です。
 
Overview of the course   
Students will learn the Hebrew alphabet and the basics of Yiddish grammar. There will be listening, speaking, reading and writing exercises in each class. The lecturer will also share her experience of her field researches in Yiddish speaking communities. We might have Yiddish-speaking guest(s).

第1回 「お元気ですか？」
イディッシュ語の挨拶と自己紹介で、クラスメイトとうちとける。
ヘブライ文字について学ぶ。
第2回 「私の名前は・・・です」
自分の名前をヘブライ文字で書く。
手書きのヘブライ文字の読み書きを練習する。
第3回 「これは何ですか？あなたは誰？」
イディッシュ語の正書法について学ぶ。
第4回 「どこで何をしているの？」
テキスト「世界中のユダヤ人」（U. Weinreich）を読む。
第5回 映画の中のイディッシュ世界（アクティブラーニング）
イディッシュ語の映画を観る。
第6回 「誕生日はいつですか？」
テキスト「ユダヤの祝日」（U. Weinreich）を読む。
第7回 「なぜですか？」
疑問詞を使って会話の練習をする。
テキスト「なぜ？」（U. Weinreich）を読む。
第8回 覚えておきたい文法
人称代名詞と動詞の活用
第9回 イディッシュ語とドイツ語の比較
似ている二つの言語を比べ、その違いを学ぶ。
第10回 イディッシュ語の中のヘブライ語
ヘブライ語からの借用語を見分ける。
